Sadiq, Fouzia

Dr Fouzia Sadiq is the Director Research at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University. In past, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher and Director Biology at Imperial College London and in Riotech Pharmaceuticals, a spin-off company of Imperial College London. She was also involved with translational research. She obtained her M.Sc in Zoology from the University of Punjab (Pakistan), and completed her M.Res in BioMolecular Sciences from the University of York (UK) and PhD from the University of Aberdeen (UK).

Her time at Imperial was spent not only acting as a researcher, but also leading lectures and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority UK. Currently, she is working on Familial Hypercholesterolemia in Pakistan Population. She is also the Pakistan Lead investigator for Familial Hypercholesterolemia Studies Collaboration (FHSC), an initiative led by Prof. Kausak Ray of Imperial College London to establish a global registry for Familial Hypercholesterolemia.
