The Jinnah Award 2019 was attended by the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Canada H.E. Raza Bashir Tarar. Event showcased the unity of Winnipeggers under one roof including representation of Sikh Community, Chinese, Bangladeshi, Sri-Lankan, Indian, Arab, Federal MPs, Provincial Minister of Municipal Relations, Provincial MLA, Deputy Mayor,  City Councilors and Winnipeg Police. The highlight of the event was a gesture presented by the Sikh Community to the Pakistani Community to thank the High Commissioner of Pakistan on the opening of the Kartarpur Corridor. The Jinnah Society of North America is honored to see integration of hearts between the people of two countries who are often seen as the biggest rivals at the state level.
